Thursday

thankful.

at work a resident by the name of Francis, is extremely lonely.
she always asks everyone and anyone to watch television with her.
sadly, today another resident Ann, got fed up and started wailing on dear Franny.
and the top it off Bette, another resident (who is not LDS, but the others are) said,
"hey guys you got to LOVE each other all the time! Ann, just love each other!"
it was a bit amazing to me to see that a non-LDS had to tell a LDS to be like Christ.

there are so many good people in the world, regardless of religion.
i love that.
it is wonderful.
i'd like to see more of that goodness.

i wish i could have said, Ann-if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all!

but, i would be an onry old hag bag too if my husband died and my kids never came to see me and i lived in a rest home and had to roll around on a wheelchair 24 hours a day...

but come on!
i really dont want to get old.
i really dont want to get lonely.
i definitely dont want to get onry.
and definitely not be mean to others.

i hope i turn out to be like James (with parkinsons disease), or Winnone (who got her teeth literally hammered for 2+ hours), who out of selflessness, watch television with Franny, even though they have TV's in their own rooms.
and both have living spouses to care for. and have to sit on that pee body couch, and by the pee body herself. and soak it all in.

thats how i want to be..
